Why Transparency Matters

Most trust and review platforms hide their scoring logic. We believe that is wrong. If you are going to make financial decisions based on a score, you deserve to understand exactly how it was calculated.

The Six Factors

Every Scamora Trust Score is built from six weighted categories. No black boxes, no AI that cannot be explained.

1. Review Quality & Satisfaction (35%)

The largest factor. We look at average star rating, volume of reviews, recency weighting, and quality indicators like review length and detail.

2. Review Authenticity (20%)

We use behavioral signals to detect fake review campaigns: burst detection, duplicate content analysis, IP clustering, and account age signals.

3. Legitimacy & Identity (15%)

Domain age via RDAP, claimed ownership, contact information availability, and DNS health.

4. Security & Technical Trust (15%)

HTTPS, valid SSL, security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options), and DNS security records.

5. Transparency & Responsiveness (10%)

Does the business respond to reviews? Is their profile claimed and complete? Do they engage constructively with criticism?

6. Performance & Reliability (5%)

Basic availability and HTTP health checks.
